DENVER, CO -- The new academic program offers real estate investors of all levels online training, coaching, certification and a professional code of ethics; founders aim to help investors master the fundamentals of the profession and elevate the image of the industry The College of American Real Estate Investors (CAREI) is now open to the public, offering online learning and certification for independent real estate investors. CAREI was formed to help investors master the fundamentals of their profession and also to help repair the negative image of the industry by establishing clear ethical guidelines.

CAREI's self-paced program is designed for experienced professionals as well as for rookies who want to learn the ropes from seasoned, acknowledged industry experts. Members of the college can become CAREI Certified, which indicates that they have completed the required curriculum, passed a certification exam and agree to adhere to a professional code of ethics.

With strict training and educational requirements, CAREI Certification helps to monitor real estate investors and ensure integrity in all transactions, which helps to protect consumers. CAREI certification promotes competence, integrity and social responsibility through continuing education requirements and community involvement.

"CAREI was founded to help our profession reach a new level of competence," said William Bronchick, president the College of American Real Estate Investors. "Members who become CAREI Certified will have the edge over other real estate investors by promising a high standard of ethics and professionalism."

Although CAREI is not affiliated with any university, members receive networking opportunities, educational resources and access to a members-only online marketplace. Classes are taught by an adjunct faculty who are reputable experts in the field of real estate investing. In addition, a board of advisors, comprised of well-known industry leaders, provides strategic direction, contributes content for courses and serves as faculty members and mentors to CAREI members.

Classes required for certification include Ethics; Cash Flow Analysis; Property Management; Tax Strategy; Foreclosure Laws; and Contracts. CAREI classes are offered individually at $29 for members or $49 for non-members plus a $69 annual enrollment fee.
